In the stands

Cristina and Evan sat in the bleachers with me and a few hundred other people as Bella and her schoolmates performed a band concert tonight. It was a delight to see the children's enthusiasm and effort. The band teacher looks like he's barely twenty, and yet he has worked wonders with these children.Teachers really should be the best-loved and best-paid people in society.

Evan just lost another tooth yesterday, and he'll be back tomorrow for more Baba time.
