Nettles in Flower

It was lovely this lunchtime to be out walking and seeing the stinging nettles coming into flower. Another Spring flower making a dash to be seen. Often this flower goes unnoticed by many people. A delicate white flower that has small white hairs just like the stem and leaves.

The Romans brought stinging nettles to this country, because they used it as an aphrodisiac.

Does anyone use nettle for this or anything else?
