Egyptian Extravaganza

CyclopsJnr was back to school today after a couple of days off sick - he's still got a wee bit of a cough but is back to full energy now.

This afternoon their Egypt topic culminated in an "Egyptian Extravaganza".  They turned their classroom into a "Museum", complete with their posters about ancient Egypt and various replica items they had constructed.  CyclopsJnrs contributions included a papier mache facsimilie of Tutankhamun's death mask, a lego version, some clay bowls, and a quiz on the iPad amongst other things.  He was delighted to show these to all the visiting parents, and share some fascinating facts.

Afterwards they did a show of songs, poems and chant related to the topic.  CyclopsJnr enjoyed the pyramid action in this song a lot!

A fun way for everyone to spend part of a Friday afternoon!
