Terra Firma!

After three long days at sea, we have finally arrived in Cape Town, South Africa.

We were scheduled to arrive at around 4:00 p.m., then it was changed to 6:00 p.m. .... and finally we are just now docking at almost 10:00 p.m!  Another cruise ship was in our assigned berth, and we had to wait until they left before we could come alongside the pier.

So ... sadly no glorious view of Table Mountain in the beautiful sunny weather we had this afternoon, but instead a rather murky view in the dark of night with a light rain falling.  Still, it's a lovely sight, and we are raring to come ashore tomorrow morning!
