In The Countryside.....!!

Out driving today....in the beautiful Spring countryside that is the best of Ireland’s almost midlands...the borders and crossing ‘over and back’ between Counties Kildare, Laois and Carlow!!
And I can definitely say we indulged in some ‘retail therapy ‘ in Carlow town...!
I bought two dresses and a trousers...!
And some ‘stuffing’ for my Ballet Bunny..!
And would you believe there was not one ball of Black Double Knitting yarn to be had.....!!
All kinds of reasons to blame...just two being Brexit and the earthquake in Turkey...( a huge amount of our yarn is imported from Turkey)....and two conversations had about the fact that there is so very little of anything like that produced in Ireland anymore!! And we had such a wonderful yarn industry in years gone by...
