Silly Shady Saturday

We had lots of cloud cover so I went wildlife shooting instead.
But really, it stopped raining this afternoon so I went to see the Cherry Blossoms then. The sun did not come out, so don't trust your weather apps too much, but there was nice drama to be found with the Washington Monument disappearing into the clouds. 

One of the wonderful things about major tourist attractions is that you get to see humanity in all its diversity. 

I may know what happened to my shower stall glass - we're having the biggest geomagnetic storm in ages!!
Actually, that means that an awful lot of people are lucky enough to see the aurora borealis, much further south than usual. Even in Shenandoah National Park in VA people have taken pictures of it. 

Zelensky has met with the World Bank about projects to restore transport infrastructure, electricity, and health care.

A rehab center in Lviv has opened. It will manufacture prostheses. 

EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced she and Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will work with Ukrainian officials to bring home Ukrainian children. I wish them the most effective ideas and implementation.
