Mono River

A quiet evening in the Rive Ale House, and I experimented with the mono setting on my phone. The chap on the right was a real ale fan from Holland.

Earlier, I did my first run of 2023. I had taken an enforced winter break (I went down with flu on the Monday before Christmas and the chesty cough took a long time to clear). Eased back into things with a steady 45 minutes run, initially at MAF (maximum aerobic function) pace but my HRM was all over the place, so I just ignored it and ran at around 6m/km.
