red buds down

This is a pre-sunrise look out the kitchen window. We have a little red bud tree in the front of our yard that lost a little branch in yesterday's thundershowers. My wife put it in this little bottle vase on the ledge. Its one of a thousand simple gestures a day that she does effortlessly to make our home a fresh and fun place to live.

Man, I am going to take some great Blips l the rest of this week. We are leaving this afternoon for San Francisco to visit one of our twin girls, my son-in-law and our two grandsons. One is a brand new guy. My camera, 28-300, 85mm and baseball mitt are in my suitcase.
