Moving on

A last look out of our son’s bedroom window, which faces fields and this glorious example of Cheshire architecture with its beautiful barley sugar chimneys. By the time we stay with this family again they will have moved to another country.
No need for tears. They are only moving just over a mile down the road and into Wales.
They will be nearer the school and village hall and shop. Closer to school friends. Nearer to the pub and yesterday’s coffee shop blip. Into the heart of the village and following the dragon. And still surrounded by fields and countryside and in the shadow of Hope Mountain.
We drove home today. Excellent journey. Jacqui had her usual rant about litter on the motorway, in particular the amount of tyres and tyre debris, casually left on the side. We need the resurgence of Keep Britain Tidy.
