Sarah Perricone

We have been holding a series of Sound Sessions at The Mackintosh Church that takes participants on a calming and relaxing musical journey.

In the beautiful candle-lit Church and Hall participants experienced a gentle hour of calming and contemplative sounds by Sarah Perricone, one of the country's leading practitioners of Sound Therapy.

Music has been an integral part of Sarah's life since childhood. She trained at the RSAMD in Glasgow and worked for many years as a Professional Violinist with National Orchestras both in the UK and overseas. As a musician Sarah was always fascinated by the profound effects that sound and vibration have on people, physically, mentally and emotionally. This interest led her to study Sound Therapy at the College of Sound Healing under the Tutelage of Simon Heather, the College Founder. This development has allowed Sarah to incorporate her musicianship into her expanding therapeutic practice. As a Sound Healer, Sarah works with clients both individually and in groups.

We will be running more of these marvellous Sound Sessions in the iconic Mackintosh Church.

You can listen to Sarah Perricone being interviewed.
