Like ducks to ... water, weeds, insects?

The local ducks are out and about, enjoying the beck, playing 'chicken' on the roads, basking in the sun. These two seemed to like swimming through the clouds of insects hovering over the water (which you can just about see, albeit mainly out of focus).
