Being nice to nettles

As you may or may not know, it's Be Nice to Nettles week, so here is my hommage to them. Saw quite a few clumps while walking on the Sugar Loaf today.

Not sure what the sheep is doing hiding behind the tree. I tried cropping but it didn't look right, so she was obviously meant to be blipped today.

Nettles are quite palatable if you only use the tops of young ones - and wear gloves both while picking and preparing them. No sting in cooked ones!!

Gardening report: Fed and earthed up the potatoes. Broad beans are growing well. Planted a comfrey for liquid manure.
