As far as the eye could see

As far as the eye could see there were bluebells, an amazing display with their intense blue. Mixed in amongst them were Star of Bethlehem giving a splash of white, and here and there the bracken fronds were beginning to show. The smell of the bluebells was very strong.

Normous took a detour at the weekend on the way home from the golf club and spotted this display near St Barnabas Church, high up on Ranmore, and he suggested them for a blip. Today there were lots of cyclists on the road as usual but it was quiet apart from birdsong and the occasional shout from a pheasant.
