As you can see, there was a tempting array of bread to choose from at the market in Wells this morning. Don't know about this lady, but I went for the walnut and stilton loaf. Came home with cakes and bedding plants as well. After that, it was back to the moderation grindstone.

On the subject of stones, reached a milestone this afternoon when we finally paid off the mortgage; seemed a long way off when we bought our first flat back in 1977 - can we really have got this old?
