You all know about Daleks?

We have a new team - I'm not part of it - but it is in my Agile Release Train (don't, for pity's sake, ask what THAT's supposed to mean). And because every team has to have a motto they have come up with the somewhat Orwellian/Dalekian(?) meets ChatGPT "Automate & Comply".

It's not particularly welcoming as a motto or am I just far too sensitive for this Brave New World of Stupidity?

Quite honestly I find it threatening & aggressive.

And a word to the wise - stop inviting me to 9 hour "planning" meetings where management has already decided what we are going to do and my opinion counts for eff all.  I can get a LOT done in 9 hours when it isn't in a meeting where I can't change anything and people Denglisch their way through.

I need some training.
