Great Gable, Green Gable & Base Brown

from Kirk Fell.

A big walk today, walked over Kirk Fell, then up the left side of Great Gable as you see it in the photo (and that was steep), down to Green Gable, and finally over Brandreth and Grey Knotts. Although not a hugely long walk by our standards, (10 miles), a lot of height gain over very technical ground.
