Library closures

We are great users of our local library - especially the Chief. This is todays collection for her.
Unfortunately our city council has decided to close several of the city library branches to save money. This does seem to have been done with little thought : branches to close are generally in the less affluent parts of the town where access to books (especially for kids ) seems important. By contrast our branch library in an affluent part of town remains open. Crazy.
