Cross Country.

Quite a hot day again, especially for a race day.

Isabella had a much longer race to run this year.

For part of the race, we can't see them as they are running around the school grounds.  

I thought she was going to get beaten then some of the parents started cheering her on, and her class teacher, egged her on.

And she suddenly stretched herself and came in first.  She wasn't even out of puff!!

But Mia was the biggest surprise, we weren't expecting her to come anywhere.

She didn't have so far to run, so I could see all of her race.  

For most of it she was in fourth place.

But she got a sudden spurt on and came in third.

So proud of both girls. ( Glad they were oblivious to the fact that their parents had spent the whole day, deciding how their lives were going to be from now on.)

Their afternoon at school was spent watching movies, eating cupcakes, popcorn and ice blocks.

Don't remember my school days being like that!
