BethaBlip 30...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

Although it is no longer potty month, it is still toilet training month. If you are eating your dinner at this point, it may be advisable to stop reading and go straight to paragraph 2. Okay, if you're still with me, I'll continue. Bethany has now all but dispensed with the potty and prefers to perch onto of the toilet to get her business out of the way. We thought we'd go cold turkey so she only wears a pull-up nappy at night. The rest of the time she is in 'big girl pants'. We're still having the occasional accidents on the number 2 side but this is hardly surprising as she has what the doctor suspects to be toddler (dihorea/dihorreea/diarya sp?) skits. If I remember right, we haven't had a number 1 accident in a good few weeks and she is getting very good at telling us when she needs to go which is probably half the battle. So far this month we've twice managed what I have coined the 'vindaloo jacuzzi'. It involves bathtime and I'll let you work the rest out.

This month Bethany got her first home hair cut. Actually only her second hair cut ever but Mrs TFP is requiring willing models to practice on as she is considering putting her training to good use. I think it looks brill and is also practically brill as well because it is so much easier to wash and brush as needed tonight.
