New wellies

We went out early this morning to check the moth traps at Roudsea Woods. Rob was pleased with them and had a first for the reserve, Tawny Pinion see extra. It’s one of those that are moving north with the climate.
A student group arrived and he gave them a little talk, just like the old days!
And the ospreys are back on their nest!
I gave my new wellies their first expedition and they are really soft and insulated so I hope they will give some good years of service.
