My frequent companion Maisie obeying a request to sit among the road cones. There is currently a lot of building and repair work in the places we often walk, so care is needed. Obedience is variable however, and my instructions meet deaf ears when there is water running in the gutters: the most exciting spectacle Maisie can imagine, requiring her to paddle, wade, sniff and sip. Tricky when we live in a hilly city.
