Lauriston Castle

Trip back to WGH this morning to hand in ECG portable kit & diary. I was too early so went to café & discovered the WRVS is permanently closed & not just shut for yesterday. So sad, even the wee papershop with sweets closed too. I hope someone else takes over but hopefully not contracted out to some expensive coffee chain!

Went over to the wee café in Royal Victoria Building but was so busy. Must be quite worrying for folk working elderly wards not to increase risk of infection.

I still wear a mask for my GPs & the Hospital, some folk don't, but the Heart Dept was asking folk to wear if they could.

Bus to Silverknowes then walked up to Lauriston Castle. Had a short walk then sat in Italian Garden enjoying the sunshine & listening to the birds chirping. Heard & saw the buzzard circling over the grounds.

Met up with MT at café for hot chocolate & treat. Must be over a month since last time we caught up.

Dropped off at the house, now relaxing.
