A Eurasian blue tit on a pussy willow branch

The colours of this small  Eurasian blue tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) are so vivid and must be preparing it for the mating display season. The feathers look in perfect shape. I'm also amazed at how close the colours of the feathers are corresponding to the colours of the pussy willow flower buds.

Once again this tit seemed quite happy to look at me for a few seconds as I pointed my lens at it, before it flew the few feet onto the suet feeder hanging off a post supporting a trellis on the patio just below me.
