Carnac.
Today was spent exploring the Neolithic monuments in the south of Brittany. Thousands of standing stones in lines stretching for around 3 kilometers. Punctuated by dolmens and outlying huge menhirs it's a stunning spectacle from 4500 BC. Incredible that so much has survived.
