Your table is ready.

I took few photos today and the ones I took with the camera were so bad that this is a rare phone photo.

We decided to go to Playa Cabria to see if it was too windy to sunbathe. But first things first, lunch at Costa Cabria, formerly Casa Antonio, where the tables are just metres from the waves — or, today, gentle ripples. Another delicious salad, if not as good as yesterday’s — a “Caprese salad” made with tomato, mango, avocado, burrata, and basil dressing. It was a much more leisurely meal than yesterday’s too — by the time we’d finished three courses and coffee it was too late to sunbathe. We did have time to walk along to the smaller beach beyond the headland though. We’ve only been here a couple of times, and I’d forgotten it is black sand. There were a couple of people sunbathing, and no one in the water (I dipped my toes in).

Back home for S’s Catalan lesson — I used the time to do a bit of essential shopping. It was a lovely balmy afternoon, warm enough to be still sitting outside at 7 pm.
