Quid pro quo

Another trip to Edinburgh – on my own this time – and on the way home stopped for a photograph of Newhaven harbour. It would make a change from Pettycur harbour was my thinking. As I looked up from my viewfinder who should be watching my attempts but Alan, an ex work colleague who actually knows how to use a camera. We stood chatting away for ages catching up on the years since we last saw each other until I had to head for home. But not before the usual "You take my photo and I'll take yours" scenario. One has to take blip opportunities when they present themselves. It makes life so much easier.

And saves on yet another Pettycur harbour shot.
