Last Light in Cortez

I took young friend Sarah out for the sunset tonight, and she used my back-up camera. We were fortunate enough to see a fishing boat come in carrying a boat load of herring, which is used for bait.

She snapped away, actually taking more pictures than I did. I didn't like the light, so I focused more on the birds than on the unloading. It's fun to watch, especially when it's somebody else doing the hard work.

In my Extras is a picture of the captain of the boat with a King Mackerel, and a preening blue heron.
