St. Albans: Cathedral Crossing

More and less centred in large
Extra:
Peregrine falcon flying up to the tower
Altarscreen with colour projection
Nacreous mermaid Jesus altarpiece
Back blip

Im and I went to see a friend in St. Albans in the afternoon. It was very wet, but we enjoyed a coffee and a catch-up, as well as visiting the characterful cathedral (I liked the mixed up architectural styles, the illuminated 'Saints in Colour' altar screen, and the mother-of-pearl mermaid altarpiece with mystery orb), and then ambling around the older part of the city.
It was a particular highlight to see a peregrine falcon perching on the cathedral parapet and then flying up to the tower, but my pictures weren't fantastic as I had to change lens and then try to catch it in the heavy rain...
