Be thankful for small mercies.

We didn't get up very early, after yesterday's early start, but the weather wasn't very encouraging anyway. A quiet morning pottering about , but after lunch, surprise surprise, the sun made an appearance. I actually put some washing on the line, and took my camera out the garden and sat on the bench. I was just about to give up when this massive bee flew into one of the daffodils. I quickly got up, hoping to get a better shot, but no luck, he flew  away. My one and only photo for today.
