Bluebells

I spent the morning making a batch of rhubarb chutney…harvested about 2.5kg of the stuff from the garden, donated 1kg to one of our neighbours and used the rest for my chutney. Have got nine jars full now which should last me a while :-)

The forecast rain did not materialise so I got out for a walk after lunch, spotting some bluebells growing in the base of a hedgerow. I think this the earliest in the year that I have blipped some (by 4 days) - annoyingly just a day too early for the ‘wild flower week’ challenge 2023
