Olaf Polir is Here!

As part of Mrs B's Christmas she was gifted a WWF adoption pack for a penguin. Included in the pack was a penguin fact book, an adoption certificate and regular email updates on penguins throughout the year.

What we didn't expect was the delivery of a strange egg from the WWF a couple of days ago.

Intrigue deepened as a tapping could be heard coming form within, gradually getting louder until this morning when "CRACK", this wee fella emerged.

We've named him Olaf Polir as a nod to the northern coast of Norway, within the Arctic Circle from where this particular breed of penguin is most common.

Any resemblance between baby penguin poo and mini eggs is purely coincidental.
