Soothing Sea

So much churning round in my mind that couldn't get to sleep last night, and then more translating. I really am glad to be useful, but takes it out of you, not so much the simultaneous ones of talks, but the long (almost two hours) stressful trying to sort out misunderstandings type of back and forth.

Today was meant to be an outing on a boat round the Croatian islands, but cancelled because of the risk of bad weather, which actually happened last night - a real lightning and thunder and heavy rain show - whereas today was gorgeous. Must admit to being disappointed. But glad we managed a quick walk down to the beach here.

Mike is at a "party" next door, but again, I'm chilling and going to bed, and hoping for a better night. Oh, and better look up vocab for the AGM tomorrow.

Gratefuls:
- surviving the day
- fun chatting to a guy (and his wife) who we were at All Nations College with, telling incredible stories of when he first went to Albania after it opened up
- listening to Paul practice his sermon, and chatting to Ju and Tom and seeing Eden, happy, in Trapiá; my kids are such a blessing to me
