Shaftesbury Abbey Re-opening Ceremony

I attended the reopening ceremony at the abbey this afternoon with a friend who works on the education side with me . It once again was bucketing it down but after half an hour we fortunately went inside after the blessing of the new education building. 

Robert Pothecary, a local artist presented his painting ‘Vespers’ to the Abbey . He had a vision during a walk in Lockdown and painted his experience as explained in the printed information. He seemed a fascinating man who had experienced quite a few ‘visions’ .
