Tar very much!

This morning they resurfaced the road. The roller they used looked very impressive and I wondered for a moment if I could borrow it to do our lawn!  Anyway, just a few hours after this work was done, the traffic management truck came along and took all the 'road closed' signs away which meant the endless, and sometimes entertaining, procession of cars performing U-turns ended.  The road and pavement is now a pretty unattractive patchwork but at least the water and gas leaks have been fixed. Onwards.
