Drama at the market

I went along to the Sunday market today around 11.30 and was surprised to see stalls just being set up and a lot of empty spaces. Usually by that time it would be in full swing, but it seems that a tree had fallen down and obviously had to be cleared away before everything could get started. The stall holders were working valiantly to serve the queues of customers. The paella stand and some other hot food stalls were just starting to get their stuff set up, so it would be a bit of a wait for those wanting a quick bite.

Presumably no one had been hurt (or even around) when the tree actually fell down. The trees in that space are all at quite an angle, so I’m surprised that it doesn’t happen more often.
