Out For A Spin!

The west coast of Scotland was blessed with some lovely weather today. Mum and I went out for a spin and, quite spontaneously, ended up at Seamill Hydro for lunch with a lovely outlook over the Firth of Clyde to our holiday island of Arran. Then, along to Ardrossan to see the Arran ferry, Isle of Arran, depart with the usual immense longing to be on board. Paisley was next with a visit to our former family home, ‘183’, with more spins around the memory block, including passing the Anchor Mills of the Coats family. Their fellow benefactors, the Clarks, built the church shown just along from where Mum lives in Largs. A nice day out!
