The site of the de lisle tower.

Good morning for all. J and E went for a hack. T went climbing with Oron and Steve. I got out for a very muddy northern hits.

Saw this hand written sign, thought it might be some nonsense about no biking in the woods. Turns out it was a bit of local history, there used to be a 40ft high tower with an internal staircase on top of this pile of stones. It was used by the de lisle family to observe the hunting. Knocked down in the 1930s.
