The weather has been absolutely glorious here today. We went for a long walk this morning and it was lovely to see the hawthorn blossom and the wood anemones. We could also smell the wild garlic starting to grow amongst the bluebell leaves in the woods. Someone has made some steps down one of the steep banks by the beck using a cut up tree which has made the descent much easier as it can be really slippy at times. The horse in one of the fields  at Tong Park kept coming over to me, it was very friendly.

I spent the afternoon in the garden cutting the lawns and then doing a bit of tidying so a busy day but good to get out in the fresh air after spending so much time indoors recently.
