Nice to be appreciated

Another busy day but in a different way today.

Firstly a trip into Sir John Nelthorpe school to talk to the 15 year old Business Studies students.

Lovely kids, flowers as a thank you.

Then after break a talk on chocolate and natural flavours to some sparky 13 year old Food Science students (a treat for being a superb class).

More lovely kids (including Piers :-) )and a small speech and beautiful cut glass vase from the class as a thank you.

After school, Sophia's parents evening. How she's making us proud in every way.

Then a very quick tea and back out, this time to Girl Guides for a talk on chocolate, then lollipop making.

Home to a cup of tea and just in time to catch the Apprentice at 9pm (missed the rest).

Huge thank you to my brilliant assistant, Mum to 9 hatchling quail and wonderful friend Jen for all her help and hard work. What would I do with our you? Glad your quail are now hatching :-)

So nice to be appreciated too.

Final Word: Thoughts are with the family of the young soldier who's life was taken from him so horrifically and violently today.
