Sounding Off

I noticed whenever I could hear another pair calling out in the distance, these two Sandhill Cranes would sound off as well.

I studied them for quite a while and ended up with 41 shots. Unfortunately they were for the most part obscured by reeds where they were feeding and when they came out into the open they didn't do much of interest.

I tried to take note of when their faces were in the light, sadly only partially so in this frame. I like that there is a little bit of movement in the beak. I feel I could have given them more headroom.
