The Glee Club

My application to join has been rescinded.  Even shredded.  Although no reason was given – none was required. Apparently, I have to reapply next year. 
 
In other news, and much to my amazement, I met DJ Slot in Tankerness Lane on my way to dancing.  Haven’t seen him for about a year; he stays in Stromness but is a DJ in Turkey for about 5 months of the year.  He spoke of Sun Ra and West Ham United.  Topics that normally don’t come up on a day to day basis.
 
Went to see my Mum this afternoon and she sent me to the Co-op for two packets of Dreamies for a cat that has adopted her at the care home.  He spends a lot of time with her and was up on my lap for a while.
