Day 2 GR221 Valdemossa to Deia. 23,8km, 680m ascent, 840m descent, 5h 40 mins.

Fabulous walk. Up through a forest to start with. Lots of trees damaged from snow storm 6 weeks ago and quite a bit of debris. Great views from the summit ridge although the cloud kept coming in and out. The path down had huge sections that were cobbled. Deia was an unexpected delight. Beautiful mountain village. Enjoyed a lovely meal out this evening (tapas) to celebrate two special family events today. See extras.
