Krone Tool (MM480)

Well, this seems appropriate on the 50th anniversary of the first mobile telephone call?

A Krone tool would have been (probably still is) used by telecoms engineers to push fine solid wires into connection strips.  If you ever fitted an extension socket for your home land line you might well have used the disposable plastic version.

Sometimes called a punch down tool.  Krone is the name of the company who first made the type of connector strip they are used on.

Thanks to Jensphotos for hosting Mono Monday this month.

In other news, I have spent the day fighting Lightroom, which I have now beaten into submission persuaded to co-operate!

One for Mono Monday on the theme of communication.
