The perils of satnav

We're heading into Morayshire using Google Maps on the phone to go the pretty way. The A96 is so boring. So here we are in the middle of somewhere, on a vast estate with any number of unnamed farms, and the road is closed for tree felling.  The first three routes we try come back to the same place.

Finally we escape into the middle of this natural woodland. No regimented conifers. Just birches mingled with scots pines, as far as we could see, Ravines. Heathers. Lichens. Mosses. Ferns  just starting to show. Trees of great age.

No idea where. I doubt we could find it again. Did it exist? Had we accidentally gone through the back of a wardrobe?
