....Out till 2.30 AM looking for Aurora Borealis, but the northern sky refused to become dark enough to allow it to show properly.
On closer inspection of my shots, I discovered the time wasn't entirely wasted.
These milky looking whisps are 30 - 50 miles up at a temp of - 125C.
Big blast from the Sun is heading our way NOW, so get out over the next few nights to capture the Aurora!
