The Bee and Daffodil

I was a bit miffed to read, after planting masses of daffodils, that the flowers are of zero use to bees. Is this the only bee in Wharfedale that likes them? I went back to plant crocuses after I read that but this bee kept coming back for more and wasn't fussed about the crocuses.

After yesterday's exertions, I've had a very relaxing day with a bit of pottering here and there.
