Binsey

One of the most Northerly of all the Lake District Fels, Binsey is set totally alone a couple of miles north of the fells known collectively as "Back o'Skiddaw, and about 4 miles north of the main Skiddaw range.

I continued with my "Wainwright Challenge" today. Although Binsey itself isn't a major fell, and easy to walk up, the views back to the aforementioned fells are tremendous. Rather than a simple up and down, I took a circuitous route over the back of the fell and round through the village of Bewaldeth to make it more interesting (and a little longer, ended up as a 5 mile walk.
