This is no clerical timepiece, it is the rather splendid Jubilee Clock, erected in 1887 to celebrate sixty glorious years of the reign of Queen Victoria (Gawd bless 'er.) Today it is Grade II listed and righly so. I love its ornate wrought ironwork and splendid colours. I managed to take this pic between rain and hail showers; the blue sky is something of a Brucie bonus.
