Disneyland Paris

Backblip 3/13

Technically this is Walt Disney Studios, which is adjacent to Disneyland Paris. We got on the metro this morning and went to my first non-U.S. amusement park! How exciting.

The visit started strangely because we learned that the park does not have lockers. What in the world? We had our cameras with us. We had to drop them off at guest relations at the entrance outside the park. From there, we could not just grab them, explore, and return them like you can with a locker. It's a one-time-use thing. How annoying. It makes no sense.

Other than that, the visit went well. We rode six of the seven roller coasters; Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was closed. They were nice parks, but they were somehow missing the magic of the original Disneyland. It's hard to describe. They just felt "off."

Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, pictured, is one of the best rides there. I've ridden its counterpart in California and love that too.
