Site preparation

I forgot to shut the chickens in last night and am awakened by the cockerels growing loudly outside my windows at early o’clock. I put feed in their run and they obediently go back to lay today’s eggs.

Michael arrives with Torrin and a mini digger. The digger moves an apple tree and extracts all the fruit bushes. We replant some of them in the bottom paddock. Who know which, if any, will survive their relocation (or their extreme pruning).

Claire and Angus take away a bed. Bluefruit get the Better BDD Scenario workshop. I put up coat hooks by the front door.

And then to Earlston for food and company.
